Reflections
The following are the winners of the 2009 Blake Reflections Arts Contest, sponsored by the PTSA. Winners were recognized at the December 17, 2009 PTSA meeting. Many came with their parents to receive their awards. Winners of this year’s contest will move on the county level contest, held in January. The best works may go all the way to compete in the National Reflections Contest, held in the Spring.
Below are the winners and the certificates that were awarded. Each winner received a gift certificate to Borders Books, and a crystal (glass) flower. Mimi Browne and Jack Goble are Co-chairs of the Reflections Committee. We want to thank all students who submitted entries, the teachers who encourage them, and the parents who support them.

As the finest Arts school in Montgomery County, we hope that you will encourage your student to take this opportunity to show their talent. Blake should sweep the competition at the county level! We have the chance to forward as many as four entries per category. Prizes and certificates will be awarded to the winners.
