			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>NAMI Montgomery County will be hosting a <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">FREE</span></strong> 6 week parenting class called NAMI Basics.  This class is for parents who have a child or adolescent living with mental illness.  </p>
<p><span id="more-2051"></span>The class will cover the following topics:</p>

<li>The biology of mental illness</li>
<li>Getting an accurate diagnosis</li>
<li>Overview of treatment options and the latest research</li>
<li>Crisis planning and record keeping</li>
<li>Coping and problem solving skills</li>
<li>Listening and communication techniques</li>
</ul>
<div>The class will be held on Monday evenings from 7:00pm to 9:30pm at our office located at 11718 Parklawn Drive in Rockville behind the Karpet King and Lighting Unlimited.  The dates of the class are:</div>
