The Robert T. Mangum Memorial Scholarship

The Robert T. Mangum Memorial Scholarship is a $2,000 annual award to encourage collegiate studies in the field of agriculture and related industries.  The Scholarship honors the contributions of a lifelong Maryland resident, Director and Member of the Montgomery County Farm Bureau, respected Montgomery County businessman, and pioneer in the national horticultural & landscape contracting industry.  The Scholarship is administered by the Montgomery County Farm Bureau.

Scholarships available through Leadership Montgomery

I’d like to bring to your attention to Leadership Montgomery’s Youth Community Leadership Awards, which offers five $1,000 scholarships to students attending a public orindependent school in Montgomery County, who are currently enrolled in 12th grade and have completed a minimum of 260 hours of community service learning activities by the end of the last semester of their junior year.

Applications can be found on web site listed above. We’d appreciate you spreading the word about the award so that we can reach the population of the entire County and all deserving and interested students.
