12th Grade Parent Peer Group Meeting – Oct 11, 2010

Parents of Seniors (class of 2011), we are coming into the final stretch.  Mark your calendars for our first parent meeting of the year on Monday October 11, 2010 at 7 pm in the Blake Amphitheater.  We will be finding out about many of the activities and requirements during Senior year.  Mr. DuBoyce ( our 12th grade administrator) will be presenting a wealth of information and there will be time for discussion and questions and answers.

Navigating Section 504 & Educational Services

There will be a Section 504 technical assistance conference for parents being offered this Friday, September 24th. The Office of Civil Rights is hosting the conference for Montgomery County and 5 surrounding jurisdictions. We apologize for the late notice, but OCR was working out the logistics for the format, location, date, and time of the conference, which they just shared with MCPS.

You are invited to a welcome picnic at Blake on Thursday, August 26, 2010, at 6:00 p.m. Mark your calendars. The PTSA will host the picnic. Food and drink will be provided. You are welcomed to bring an additional food dish to share, though not required.

Look for the Blake High School summer mailing which includes information concerning the picnic, 9th grade orientation, a Meet the Principal reception and parent meeting for 9th grade parents, all occurring on August 26.  Orientation is in the morning.  The other events are in the evening.
