If your Blake Team or Club collects the highest number of race participant registration forms for the Race for a Dream, scheduled the morning of October 2^nd, your Team or Club will WIN a Pizza Party.

Additionally, the winning team or club members will also receive a prior year’s race t-shirt for participating in this challenge.  The Race registration form is located here.

So sign up for the race, and encourage your friends and family too!  Blake teachers and staff are welcome to participate!!

The Prom and after Prom are fast approaching.  Here is some important information on these events.

Prom is on Friday, May 14 from 8:00pm-12:00am at the Samuel Riggs Alumni Center at the University of Maryland.
The After Prom is at Dave & Buster’s in White Flint Mall immediately following the Prom from 12:30am to 5:00am. Prom Tickets will be available for purchase on Monday, April 26-Friday, May 7.  The cost will be $55.00 per ticket. Tickets will NOT be sold the week of Prom.  After-Prom tickets will be included with the purchase of a Prom ticket.  For questions regarding Prom tickets contact Kelly McLaughlin, Junior Class Sponsor, Kelly_A_McLaughlin@mcpsmd.org.

With about 35 days to go until the 2010 After-Prom, we have just passed the 66% point of our Fundraising goal for Parent Donations. To the 81 families that have donated to the After-Prom, THANK YOU!!! To the other 900+ families at Blake, WE NEED YOUR HELP! Regardless of the grade your child is in, we count on your support. Our initial deadline is/was Friday, April 9.

Hello Blake families,

By now you have received your 2010 After Prom donation letter.  To date we have received donations from 63 families totaling about 48% of our $10,000 goal.

First, we want to thank those of you that have sent in your donations and want to remind those of you that have not to pull out the yellow/blue paper from the inbox on your desk and send your donation in for the best Blake event ever!  Should you have misplaced your letter we have uploaded the After Prom letter on this web site for you to print out and send in.
