Blake High School PTSA

If you’re wondering what to do with all the books, movies, and music you had to clear out to make room for your guests and new stuff, we have a perfect solution! Stash all those things away for the 3rd annual Blake High School Used Book and Media Sale. After the first of the year, we’ll be collecting your donations for this worthy PTSA event, which raises money for scholarships for our students. The sale will take place on February 19-21. I’d like to bring to your attention to Leadership Montgomery’s Youth Community Leadership Awards, which offers five $1,000 scholarships to students attending a public orindependent school in Montgomery County, who are currently enrolled in 12th grade and have completed a minimum of 260 hours of community service learning activities by the end of the last semester of their junior year.

Applications can be found on web site listed above. We’d appreciate you spreading the word about the award so that we can reach the population of the entire County and all deserving and interested students.
